Learn MoreNuba Mountains is a central region in Sudan comprising about a hundred ethnic groups speaking different languages and united by the name Nuba. The Nuba currently occupy the mountainous regions of South Cordovan, with a population of about four million people.
Most of them are Christians and practice small subsistence farming and cattle rearing. They have been victims of torture and discrimination by successive regimes, often denied basic human rights like education.
